Hospice of Chattanooga's Grief Support Services

Hospice of Chattanooga's care is family focused.  A grief counselor is assigned to each family receiving care from Hospice of Chattanooga.  The grief counselor works with the family while the patient is alive and follows that family for at least 13 months after the patient's death.

Hospice of Chattanooga's grief counseling is available in many different forms.  Our educated and experienced therapists provide one-on-one counseling, family counseling, and oversee grief counseling groups that meet weekly, biweekly, and monthly.  In some instances, Hospice of Chattanooga's families will utilize several different types of counseling during their grief journey.  Each individual decides which type of counseling is most appropriate for their situation.

Hospice of Chattanooga's grief counseling services are available free of charge to anyone in the community.  You are not required to be a Hospice of Chattanooga patient or family to benefit from our bereavement services.
