1.  Personalized service. We are the ONLY area hospice that employs eight highly trained physicians, 287 Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Certified Nursing Assistants and support staff whose only job is to take care of you and your loved ones. All of us have chosen to work for Hospice of Chattanooga because each one is dedicated to providing the finest quality of care possible. We provide care through a team approach and all 18 counties that we serve have a team of professionals dedicated to that area. All of our physicians and most of our nurses are certified in end-of-life care. With a staff this large we are able to serve many people yet take the time necessary to get to know each patient, their families, their needs.  

2.  We are the only Hospice care provider in the area to offer palliative care not only in the home, but at a dedicated location.    

3.  Hospice of Chattanooga is the only Hospice care provider in the area to offer pediatric care.

4.  Hospice of Chattanooga is the only Hospice care provider in the area to offer perinatal services (Babies diagnosed as terminally ill). In fact, Hospice of Chattanooga is one of the few Hospice providers in the country to offer pediatric and perinatal service.   

5.  Hospice of Chattanooga is the only Hospice care provider in the area supported by United Way. It is a 501-C-3 organization which means we are a nonprofit organization.  

6.  Hospice of Chattanooga has 24-hour, seven-day-a-week, on-call services. No matter where you are, our goal is to anticipate your needs or problems before they happen. Questions and concerns sometimes happen after traditional working hours. We have an expert on duty 24 hours a day that can answer your questions, help to resolve your problems or get a nurse on her way to you quickly. Because we maintain locations all over our service area, the on-call nurse can respond quickly to your needs and not worry about whether she has access to the appropriate equipment or supplies that may be needed.

7.  Our physicians make house calls! Each physician is board-certified and holds a specialty in hospice and palliative medicine. They provide services not only in the home, but also in contracted nursing home facilities and hospitals.
