Grief Support
Hospice of Chattanooga’s grief counselors follow each hospice patient’s family for at least 13 months after the patient’s passing. If needed, these counselors are also available to work with families while the patient is still alive. Hospice of Chattanooga offers individual grief support, family counseling, as well as grief support groups. Our counselors are trained at the master’s degree level. Workplace education is available for those struggling on the job to cope with a recent or anticipated death. Our counselors also speak to community groups about issues related to death, dying, and grieving. Hospice of Chattanooga’s grief support is available to everyone in our 18-county service area. If you are grieving the death of someone close to you, call us at (423) 892-4289. Let us share how we can help. |
