New Medical Director for Palliative Care Services

Robert Goldmann, MD has been named as the new Medical Director for Palliative Care Services, a division of Hospice of Chattanooga.  Palliative care is designed to relieve suffering and provide the best quality of life for people facing the pain and symptoms of serious illness. “The kind of care I focus on is appropriate at any age and at any stage of an illness” says Dr. Goldmann, “and it can be provided along with treatments that are meant to cure.”

Goldmann will be responsible for the development of clinical resources that will keep Palliative Care Services as the leading provider of this focused care. He comes to Chattanooga from Wisconsin where he most recently served on the staffs of hospitals in West Allis and Milwaukee.
